Documenting the Urban Experience

Urbanists learn how a city works through intimate contact with it. Experience, observation, common sense, and human value are fundamental to an urbanist's view.

Mad-Cap – High Energy – Raw Vision

Urban Paradoxes is mad-cap, high-energy, raw-vision—

Raw-vision that sees things in the urban experience that others don't. It is this madcap perception that drives us to challenge conventional thinking, promote collabor-ation, and celebrate the urban experience in adrenalin popping, off-the-wall ways. Ultimately it is about fostering shared neighborhood vision for healing and revitalization.

Urban Paradoxes operates out of an unconven-
tional mind fusion of visionary creatives for whom the proverbial box is irrelevant. To put it in more concrete terms, Urban Paradoxes is an uncon-
ventional consortium that provides a fertile context for the fermentation of visionary conceptualization, thought-provoking documentaries, and spectac-
ular, high adrenaline, interactive. It serves a lively incubator for a highly creative fusing of art, culture, and urban thought with the urban experience in ways that make us reconsider our perceptions and definitions of "urban" not merely for the sake of changed perception, but for sake of urban healing and revitalization.

Why a black background? A monitor requires more power to display a white (or light) screen than a black (or dark) screen. Ref. Roberson et al, 2002. Please join Urban Paradoxes in conserving energy.
